Recreational shooting is among the safest sports known to man.

Like all facilites where firearms are utilized the Guelph Rod and Gun Club is very concerned with ensuring a safe environment and safe firearms handling is strictly enforced. All of our facilities are C.F.O. approved.

All members of the club must pass a club level safety course before joining as well as undergoing a probationary period. An RSO (Range Safety Officer) must be present whenever shooting is underway. In addition we have closed circuit cameras on the property and ranges.

A safe and enjoyable club is our top priority.
